Tahini sauce is probably one of the most versatile sauces and you can use it in many different dishes. Falafel wrap is the classic one but you can put tahini also in buddha bowls, salads, roasted vegetables etc.
Tahini is not only versatile but also very delicious and easy to make. It requires only four ingredients which you just mix together. This sauce is definitely one of my favourites.
Tahini Sauce (V, GF)
- 144 g (8 tbsp) hulled tahini
- 60 ml (4 tbsp) lemon juice
- cold water as needed
- salt to taste
- In a smaller bowl add tahini, fresh lemon juice, water and salt. I added about 80 ml (1/3 cup) of water to get the consistency I wanted and a scant tsp of salt. Mix everything together.
- You can use tahini sauce for a variety of dishes. You can drizzle it in a falafel wrap or on a Lebanese bowl, on different salads, buddha bowls, roasted vegetables…
