  • 250 g cherry tomatoes sliced thinly
  • 2 tbsp chiffonade fresh basil
  • 1 tsp chiffonade fresh oregano
  • a pinch of salt
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) olive oil

For the crispy baguette:

  • 1 baguette I like to make my own at home
  • 30 - 45 ml (2-3 tbsp) olive oil

  • Slice cherry tomatoes into small pieces, cut fresh basil and fresh oregano into small ribbons. Mix together in a small bowl.
  • Add salt and 15 ml (1 tbsp) of olive oil. Mix again.
  • Put the bowl in the refrigerator to chill.
  • Slice baguette into round pieces and brush every piece with olive oil on both sides.
  • Arrange slices on a baking tray. Bake at 220 °C for 7 min.
  • Arrange toasted bread on a plate. Take the chilled cherry tomato mix out of the refrigerator, mix it a little bit again, then place it on top of warm crunchy bread.
