Instructions

  • If you are making this vegan milkshake with homemade ice cream, first prepare vegan vanilla ice cream.
  • Put all ingredients for the chosen milkshake in a blender. Mix together. Use as much plant based milk as you need to get the consistency you want.
  • Pour the mixture in a tall glass and decorate with desired toppings.

Notes

*Make sure to use strawberries that are just the right ripeness. This is especially important for the PB&J milkshake. If you use not enough ripe strawberries you will taste only peanut butter in the milkshake. If you use too ripe strawberries you will taste only strawberries. But if you use just the right ripe strawberries there will be a perfect balance of strawberries and peanut butter in the taste of milkshake.
*For best result use plant based milk that is creamy (like soy or cashew milk) to keep the taste and not make it too watery.
*The taste was tested using Reese's and JIF peanut butter.
*Nutrition facts calculated for strawberry milkshake without optional toppings.
*Prep time does not include the time of making your own vegan vanilla ice cream at home.
