Lemonade 4 Ways - Basic, Pink Pitaya, Pomegranate, Passion Fruit (V, GF)

Refresh yourself in the summer heat with this homemade lemonade. It has just the right amount of sweetness. Choose between 4 different flavours and vibrant colours: basic, pink pitaya, pomegranate and passion fruit. Made in a couple of minutes and with just a few ingredients.

Ingredients
 

Basic lemonade:

  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 240 ml (1 cup) cold water
  • 12.5 ml (2 1/2 tsp) agave syrup
  • ice cubes optional
  • sliced lemon for garnish

Pink pitaya lemonade:

  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 10 g fresh pink pitaya
  • 230 ml (a little less than 1 cup) cold water
  • 12.5 ml (2 1/2 tsp) agave syrup
  • ice cubes optional
  • sliced lemon for garnish
  • sliced pink pitaya for garnish

Pomegranate lemonade:

  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 60 g pomegranate arils
  • 180 ml (3/4 cup) cold water
  • 12.5 ml (2 1/2 tsp) agave syrup
  • ice cubes optional
  • sliced lemon for garnish
  • pomegranate arils for garnish

Passion fruit lemonade:

  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 40 ml (1/6 cup) passion fruit juice pulp removed
  • 200 ml (3/4 cup + 4 tsp) cold water
  • 12.5 ml (2 1/2 tsp) agave syrup
  • ice cubes optional
  • sliced lemon for garnish
  • half a passion fruit with pulp for garnish

Instructions
 

Basic lemonade:

  • In a glass pour lemon juice (you can first put it through a sieve to make it more clear), water and agave syrup.
  • Mix well together with a spoon.
  • If desired put some ice in a glass and decorate with a slice of lemon.

Pink pitaya lemonade:

  • To a blender add lemon juice, pink pitaya, water and agave syrup. Mix well together.
  • Transfer the content to a glass.
  • If desired put some ice in a glass and decorate with a slice of lemon and sliced pink pitaya.

Pomegranate lemonade:

  • To a blender add lemon juice, pomegranate, water and agave syrup. Mix well together.
  • Put the liquid through a sieve to remove the hard parts of pomegranate from the lemonade.
  • Transfer the lemonade to a glass.
  • If desired put some ice in a glass and decorate with a slice of lemon and pomegranate arils.

Passion fruit lemonade:

  • Remove the seeds from passion fruit juice through a sieve.
  • In a glass pour lemon juice, passion fruit juice, water and agave syrup.
  • Mix well together with a spoon.
  • If desired put some ice in a glass and decorate with a slice of lemon and half a passion fruit.

Notes

*You could also use freshly squeezed lime juice instead of lemon juice to make limenade.
