This vegan hot chocolate is a thick, creamy and luxurious drink that will keep you cosy and warm over the winter months. This treat was made for the colder months. It gives you the most comforting feeling when you are sipping on this hot chocolate. My vegan hot chocolate is made with evaporated coconut milk that makes it creamy but doesn’t leave any coconut flavour (I love evaporated coconut milk from Nature’s Charm). For the sweetener I’m using sweetened condensed coconut milk which complements evaporated coconut milk taste really well. This is not surprising because sweetened condensed coconut milk is basically sweetened evaporated coconut milk.

For the chocolate I’m using Lindt 70 % because it is the best quality in my opinion. Because I love a thick hot chocolate I add some arrowroot powder to transform the liquid into more of a pudding-like consistency. Don’t forget to decorate this indulgent drink with some plant based whipped cream and some grated chocolate if desired. I like to use ready to spray whipping cream from Schlagfix.
It takes just a couple of minutes to make this delicious and calming drink. Take a break from your work, cover yourself with a warm blanket and watch the snow falling outside your window while you are sipping on this delight.
