This tahini sauce is creamy, delicious and incredibly easy to make. It requires only 4 ingredients and 5 minutes. It’s super versatile because you can use it in many different dishes. Falafel wrap is the classic one but you can drizzle tahini sauce also on buddha bowls, salads, roasted vegetables etc. I like to use it in my Lebanese meze.

The main ingredient in this sauce is tahini. Tahini is a creamy seed butter made of sesame seeds. It has an amazing flavour on its own (especially if you use hulled tahini). Add to it freshly squeezed lemon juice, cold water and salt and whisk together everything into a smooth and silky sauce. At first it will look like the sauce doesn’t want to come together but with a bit more whisking it will.
