Vegan Milkshake 3 Ways – Biscoff, Vegan Nutella, Peanut Butter (GF Options)

This milkshake is a perfect summer treat. It’s rich, full of flavour and a quick delicious drink to cool yourself in hot summer days. It’s made with only 3 ingredients and you can blend them together in just 5 minutes.

The base is vegan vanilla ice cream flavoured with a spread of choice. Choose between 3 spreads to make this indulgent drink: Biscoff spread, vegan Nutella or peanut butter. Each milkshake is made with a generous amount of the chosen spread so that the taste really comes through.

If you wish you can make this vegan milkshake with homemade ice cream. In this case first prepare vegan vanilla ice cream, then proceed with making milkshake.

Make the glass look a little more fun and decorate it with additional ingredients like whipped plant based cream, melted chosen spread, crushed roasted nuts or a crushed Biscoff cookie.

Ingredients
 

Biscoff milkshake:

  • 208 g (1 cup) vegan vanilla ice cream
  • 50 g Biscoff spread
  • a splash of plant based milk I used 35 ml (2 tbsp + 1 tsp) of unsweetened soy milk

Optional toppings:

  • whipped plant based cream
  • Biscoff spread to drizzle inside of glass
  • crushed Biscoff cookie

Vegan Nutella milkshake:

  • 208 g (1 cup) vegan vanilla ice cream
  • 50 g vegan Nutella
  • a splash of plant based milk I used 35 ml (2 tbsp + 1 tsp) of unsweetened soy milk

Optional toppings:

  • whipped plant based cream
  • vegan Nutella to drizzle inside of glass
  • roasted and crushed hazelnuts

Peanut butter milkshake:

  • 208 g (1 cup) vegan vanilla ice cream
  • 50 g peanut butter
  • a splash of plant based milk I used 35 ml (2 tbsp + 1 tsp) of unsweetened soy milk

Optional toppings:

  • whipped plant based cream
  • peanut butter to drizzle inside of glass
  • roasted and crushed peanuts

Instructions
 

  • If you are making this vegan milkshake with homemade ice cream, first prepare vegan vanilla ice cream.
  • Put all ingredients for the chosen milkshake in a blender. For Biscoff milkshake use Biscoff spread, for vegan Nutella milkshake use vegan chocolate hazelnut spread, for peanut butter milkshake use peanut butter. Use more or less plant based milk depending on the consistency you want. Blend everything well together.
  • Decorate a glass with a drizzle of chosen spread. Pour milkshake into a glass.
  • Top with plant based whipped cream, crushed nuts or a crushed Biscoff cookie.

Notes

*For best result use plant based milk that is creamy (like soy or cashew milk) to keep the taste and not make it too watery.
*The taste was tested using Valsoia chocolate hazelnut spread and Reese’s and JIF peanut butter.
*You could also make Biscoff milkshake using my homemade vegan Biscoff ice cream (made without additional Biscoff spread) and plant based milk.
